Application Process
At Talk, our application process is detailed and comprehensive, ensuring that our program aligns perfectly with your student’s needs.
Step 1: Request Information and attend a tour- This is an important step to get a general understanding of Talk and our program.
Step 2: an Initial Screening- Parent/Guardian will need to supply TALK with required documentation prior to the scheduling of the screening- Once documents have been submitted and Reviewed, you will be contacted if a screening is applicable. If so, the student and parent must be present for this 30 minute evaluation.
Step 3: Placement Evaluation-The student’s presence is required at this 1 hour Evaluation and required documentation. must be submitted one week prior to the evaluation.
Step 4: Trial Placement (Shadow Experience)- After reviewing your screening and placement evaluation, we require the student to spend one week at Talk School. This experience will allow them to familiarize themselves with the classroom setting and interact with their potential peers. Such visits can be particularly valuable for students who might feel apprehensive about transitioning to a new school environment.. All required documents must be submitted prior to the shadow experience.
Step 5: Decision
upon acceptance, we will schedule a time to discuss the enrollment process with our head of school and admissions manager.
